I’ve been coming to Argus Farm Stop at least once or twice a week for a long time, and unfortunately, I’ve noticed a significant decline in the quality and consistency of the ice cream. The last three times I’ve come have been a disappointment. I’m not sure what has changed, but the ice cream just isn’t being made the way it used to be. Another issue I’ve noticed is that the ice cream has been coming out melted and much softer than it should be, which really takes away from the experience. I truly love Argus and have been a loyal customer for a long time, which is why I wanted to bring this to your attention. Please look into what has changed and get this issue fixed. We really want the old Argus ice cream back the quality, texture, and consistency it used to have! I’ve posted photos showing what the ice cream used to look like compared to today. I didn’t take photos the last three times, but I did take one today, and as you can see, it is clearly not up to par. I really hope you can address this because I would hate to see the quality of something I’ve always loved continue to decline.

I both like and dislike this local place. On one hand, it’s in a convenient location, with great AA vibes. Coffee drinks are always made well and taste great. Very, very pricey. Especially considering a large here is only 16oz. If you get something iced, you’re probably only getting about 12oz of liquid. Food options are mostly made by offsite vendors/local businesses, but because of this the quality is I think hard for them to keep an eye on that. I’ve purchased rotten food before here. But generally, it’s a safe place to buy food. Staff is typical AA folk, fast, somewhat friendly, but not too friendly.

After one of my doctors appointments. We actually thought it was a fruit market but it's two different places with the same name just a few doors down from each other. The first one was a quaint store with Michigan/local merchandise, sandwiches, Calder's ice cream, pastries, drinks etc. She got ice cream with strawberries and chocolate chunks Mixed in. I got some Calder's chocolate milk and a chocolate croissant. There were tables to sit at inside with games you could play but we chose to sit outside at one of the patio tables. It was a nice atmosphere with friendly service and the treats were delicious!

Great service and lots of local goodies to choose from. I picked up some specialty mushrooms and fresh bread while we were shopping at the grocery store a few doors down. They even sell day-old bread at a decent price, which is a nice bonus. Overall prices do tend to run on the higher side, and parking can be a bit limited. Still, it’s a pleasant spot with plenty of healthy options, whether you shop here or at the grocery section nearby.

Great place for fresh local grab and go meals, coffee & tea, pastries, and good vibes. Staff is friendly and welcoming. Support local!
